Parents and families can play an important role in their students’ arts education. The infographics posted here can help with understanding and being able to communicate the benefits of a standards-based arts education, advocating for critical components of strong arts education programs, and becoming familiar with the guiding documents for arts education instruction. Together, these documents can help inform parents and families when engaging with school and district leaders to determine their districts’ priorities and goals for the Local Control Accountability Plans (LCAPs).
